Last week, PVTrans Petro JSC, a subsidiary of PVTrans, signed to purchase the 33,425 DWT product tanker named “Chem Tulip” which will be renamed “PVT Eagle”. This is the 5th oil tanker of PVTrans’ fleet.

All procedudes for taking over the tanker in December 2008 had been well prepared. PVT Eagle will be operated in regional routes and will serve the Oil Refinery No.1 of Vietnam (Dzung Quat Oil Refinery) from 2009, as soon as it starts.
